Jane is perfectly primed to advise businesses in navigating the CPG landscape on both sides of the Atlantic. From business start-up to business exit, she grew an award winning food brand in the US. 

She has unique market insights, and gained brand recognition from celebrities such as Drew Barrymore and Oprah Winfrey.


She has drawn on the talents of others from within a series of business incubators, mentor networks, and partnered with MBA students from Kellogg School of Management to address real-time business challenges. 

Jane believes in doing business better and co-created an inclusive employment model for adults with disabilities. As a progressive employer, with a remote partner and team, her CPG business was perfectly poised for the pandemic. 


An early adopter of the rigorously applied B Corp Certification, Jane has also achieved women-owned business status and Non-GMO Project certified her products.

She continues to build a community of experts both in the UK and USA, and speaks with functional knowledge and passion for her industry.

Jane has spent the last 2 years specifically in the non-alcoholic beverage market. Prior to that she spent 10 years growing her own CPG brand and is equipped to provide thorough strategic and tactical guidance for brands. Through Astute Ideas she has built a profitable U.S P&L and secured mainstream distribution for Caleño drinks. Additionally, Jane is well versed in FDA and State compliance for non-alcoholic beverage imports into the U.S.A.


With her business partner, she took the Zen of Slow Cooking from a tabletop in a farmers' market to the shelves of Walmart and Whole Foods Market, whilst developing a strong online channel. She learned contract manufacturing, retail distribution and logistics disciplines across the B2C, B2B and D2C landscapes

She drove innovation to become the first spice business to market with a Whole Spice Infusion concept, winning a SOFI award from the Specialty Food Association. In the process she developed in excess of 250 recipes for spice blends and meal kits.
